Dense Iron Ore is a Tier 4 item.

How to get

Mine it in Tier 4 mines (solid band, about 14 percent chance). Buy it from the Prospector vendor.

A high concentration of Iron that can be obtained through deep mining. Dense Iron Ore can be processed into Iron Ore by crushing in a Stamp Mill.
